Augustine's Peach Julep

It feels like every hour is happy hour when you try our take on this classic Julep recipe. This refreshing Julep combination features Augustine's Orange Amber Ale, creating a perfect balance of citrus and greens.


Try out this recipe that we guarantee will have you feeling peachy keen.


Ingredients

  • 2 peach slices (or other stone fruit)

  • 2 ounces bourbon

  • 1/2 can Augustine's Orange Amber Ale

  • Garnish: mint or basil sprigs

Directions

  1. Add the peach slices into a Julep cup and muddle.

  2. Add the bourbon and IPA syrup and crushed ice, and swizzle with a bar spoon or swizzle stick.

  3. Add more crushed ice and repeat until the Julep cup is 3/4 full.

  4. Top with crushed ice to create a mounded effect.

  5. Garnish with mint or basil sprigs.
