Anastasia Island Style IPA-Steamed Clams

This refreshing and citrus-forward recipe reinvents traditional steamed clams in every way. Using our own Anastasia Island Style IPA, you're sure to taste a bit of the sunshine state with this dish. Enjoy with delicious crostini bread, and serve warm to delight everyone at family dinner or your next special occasion.



Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Manila clams or little neck clams

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted, melted butter

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 7 oz Anastasia Island Style IPA

  • ground black pepper

  • Lemon slices

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

  1. Set up a skillet with your melted butter, add the garlic, and saute over medium heat until aromatic or light brown in color. Add in the clams and stir a few times before adding the Anastasia Island Style IPA. Add pepper, lemon, and parsley. Stir to combine well.

  2. Cover the skillet lid and steam on high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until all the clams open up. Serve immediately.
