Augustine's Cajun Shrimp Skillet

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1/2 cup Augustine's Orange Amber Ale

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/8 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 1/2 tsp rosemary

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 lb uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined


  1. In a large cast-iron skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat.

  2. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute.

  3. Stir in Augustine's Orange Amber Ale, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings; bring to a boil.

  4. Add shrimp & cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve over some grits!
