Coconut Porter Corned Beef & Veggies

Add some rich and hearty flavor to your St. Patrick's Day dinner with our Castillo Coconut Porter. This twist on an Irish dish will be sure to bring some extra luck to your dinner table! Speaking of luck...don't forget to add your greens! 🍀



Ingredients

  • 12 oz Castillo Coconut Porter

  • 3 1/2 lbs corned beef brisket

  • 6 medium potatoes quartered

  • 2 medium onions, peeled & quartered

  • 6 carrots cut into chunks

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 head cabbage, cut into wedges

  • 2 tbsp molasses

Directions

  1. Place potatoes, onions, carrots, and bay leaf in a large crock pot.

  2. Trim excess fat from brisket and lay the meat on top of veggies.

  3. Mix molasses & Coconut Porter and pour covering all ingredients.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for ~10 hours.

  5. Slice the brisket and let it cool for 5- 10 minutes.

  6. Serve alsongside vegetables & dig in!
