Pale Ale Pulled Chicken Sliders

Make meals easy with these, slow-cooked to-perfection, Pulled Chicken Sliders. Wow your friends and family this summer, using our Ponce's Pale Ale, to add a little bit of sweet-citrus kick to a delicious & juicy BBQ favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of honey

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Sriracha chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika, garlic powder, & onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • 3/4 cup Ponce's Pale Ale

  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 12 slider buns

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the first 8 ingredients. Add chicken and Ponce's Pale Ale; toss to coat. Cook on low until chicken is tender, approx. 6-8 hours. Remove meat & shred with forks.

  2. Strain cooking juices and transfer to a small saucepan; bring to a boil. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into the saucepan mixture. Return to a boil, while continuing to stir constantly. Cook and stir until thickened for about 5 minutes. Add chicken to the sauce; and toss to coat. Serve on buns. Add desired toppings & enjoy!
