1/4 cup of honey
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Sriracha chili sauce
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika, garlic powder, & onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
3/4 cup Ponce's Pale Ale
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water
12 slider buns
In a slow cooker, combine the first 8 ingredients. Add chicken and Ponce's Pale Ale; toss to coat. Cook on low until chicken is tender, approx. 6-8 hours. Remove meat & shred with forks.
Strain cooking juices and transfer to a small saucepan; bring to a boil. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into the saucepan mixture. Return to a boil, while continuing to stir constantly. Cook and stir until thickened for about 5 minutes. Add chicken to the sauce; and toss to coat. Serve on buns. Add desired toppings & enjoy!
